Graham’s Latest Investment Has Great Reception

Graham Partners, a private investment firm targeting technology-driven advanced manufacturing companies, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Taoglas Group Holdings Ltd. (“Taoglas”). Dually headquartered in San Diego, CA and Enniscorthy, Ireland, Taoglas is a provider of antennas, advanced IoT components, and custom design services that helps customers navigate complex radiofrequency (“RF”) and wireless systems and bring connectivity solutions to market. Graham Partners believes the IoT market is driving a secular trend toward connectivity across many end markets, with antennas and advanced components serving a mission-critical function across the IoT connectivity landscape. Taoglas seeks to solve complex connectivity problems in an array of these high-growth, IoT end markets including healthcare, industrial automation, building and security, telematics, and smart cities, through both direct and distribution channels. Graham believes Taoglas is differentiated by its in-house RF engineering expertise, focus on innovation and new product development, custom component and full product design support, strong customer base, global footprint, and positive reputation within the IoT hardware space.

With over 400 employees in ten locations worldwide, Taoglas has provided remote connectivity solutions to its customers in a wide range of applications including smart water meters, wildfire management, warehouse robotics, smart city lighting, and at home patient monitoring, among others. Taoglas has over 100 engineers on staff and has developed over 3,000 antenna designs to suit a wide range of applications.

Graham Partners has prior experience with companies offering IoT products and services through previous investments and believes it can leverage this experience through its partnership with Taoglas. The onset of “Industry 4.0” has accelerated growth in the number of IoT use cases and IoT-enabled devices, requiring a greater variety of complex antennas.
