Glenn Schmehl

Professional Bio:

Currently, Glenn is Principal of COGL Company, a management consultant company focusing on productivity improvement and outsourcing for start-up and mid-size manufacturing companies. Glenn was also a consultant for Chartered Semiconductor in Singapore. Glenn has worked extensively in the semi-conductor and wafer engineering field, most recently serving as a managing director at Agere, where he worked on the sale and transfer of all product lines manufactured at three facilities in Pennsylvania with 900 employees. Prior to Agere, Glenn concurrently held positions as General Manager, Silicon Manufacturing Partners (a Singapore joint venture between Lucent and Chartered Semiconductor), and as Product Management Director, Foundry Operations, at Lucent. Early in his career, Glenn worked for AT&T Microelectronics and at Western Electric’s manufacturing facility in Baltimore, Maryland.

Glenn received his B.S. in Engineering Mechanics from Penn State University and was selected a Centennial Fellow of the College of Engineering Science and Mechanics. Glenn also has his M.S. in Materials Science from Lehigh University.
